(Continuation from last time)
ーWhere and What kind of food do you buy in Japan ? Fira:
We usually eat vegetables, fishes and eggs around our campus. Nurul:
But in Gyomu supermarket near our campus, there are halal chicken/beef. There are two types of halal meat there, I guess. Fira:
There is also halal soy-sauce by Kikkoman there, too. There was a halal stamp on the product, so I do not check the alcohol..hehe Nurul:
I`ve heard that there is one shop in Tokyo which prepares food products (such as green tea) that have gotten halal certifications. Fira:
Oh there is a halal salt in Gyomu super and I just take that one...hahaha. Tsuyu(sauce for udon) also.
ーWhat do you do when eating outside ? Fira: When we wanna eat something outside, we research the halal/muslim-friendly restaurants first and go there. I know most of the shops are honest but we are afraid if some shops tells vague information. Nurul: But once we went to enoshima islands for sightseeing, we don`t check anything. All thing are seafood but it`s too expensive to eat so that we just went back to our living town. It depends on the situation whether we check the halal or not.
Today, we introduced the first part of whole interview with these two muslim girls. We will continue to inform the another part of this interview on latter posts.
And Thank you for cooperation, Nurul and Fira !!📷☺️
