(Continuation from last time)
ーHow about restaurants? Fira: Regarding restaurants, whether it is halal or not is important for me so that I do not eat meat outside. Of course there is another Indonesian friend that regards usual chicken/beef as edible dishes at the restaurant, but for me, NO. I only eat halal meats. Nurul: There are some strict muslims who reject to take dishes that has used oil, because oil can be cooked to anything else. Fira: I think there is a lot of vegetarian dishes in restaurants such as Saizeriya (one of the Italian chain restaurants in Japan).

Nurul: But most traditional restaurants do not have menu for vegetarian, right ? They at least have seafood dishes… Fira: So that is the only thing we can eat outside such as sushi. Nurul: Oh, but we can`t use the soy sause as including alcohol.

Fira: But Genki-sushi (one of the sushi chain restaurants) has a halal soy-sauce, so we can eat there if we ask the staff to bring halal one:). It has several stores in Tokyo
and Yokohama but not around our campus. Oh I heard that one shop of curry house coco-ichibanya(also chain) in Shibuya is halal, but I do not know other branches.
