-- So there is not much Halal food out there in Japan. How about halal restaurants in Japan?

Novi:

Well, unfortunately, there are not many HALAL RESTAURANTS here. SUSHI🍣 might be an option but some SUSHI restaurants have PORK SUSHI which means that they might use the same cookwares📷🔪so some Muslims would not like it. For example, when my mom… and she is a strict Muslimah, came to Japan, all she can eat is SUSHI🍣, PANCAKE, PASTRY, and BREAD without SHORTENING and FAT SPREAD. Well, INDONESIAN🇮🇩 and MALAYSIAN🇲🇾 restaurants might be options for Muslims to go. Once we went to a TEMPURA restaurant, we ordered SEAFOOD tempura. BUT we found that the restaurant also provided PORK as well. So she was worried if the chief used the same oil for SEAFOOD and PORK… You know, the SUBSTANCES in the pork is HARAM… the one that’s prohibited to be consumed… At the end, she didn’t eat anything... Oh, but I’ve heard that Coco Curry🍛 has opened a store in Akibahara and it is HALAL☪️ !!! Well, usually if I want to go to HALAL restaurants, I need to take a RESERVATION📞, so it’s troublesome anyways….

Still, have troubles with restaurants…. Especially halal restaurants need to be reserved beforehand….
